"How do I let you know the words I would like my jewellery stamping with?"
Once you've placed your order please email any personalisation details that you require for your purchase (ring size, wording etc) to email@example.com. Please note that I inscribe exactly as requested, so it’s extremely important for you to check and double check your words/dates, and also that you provide an accurate ring size where necessary. If you have any problems leaving a note when you check out, please fill in the form on the CONTACT page.
"How do I know my ring size?"
I would always recommend (where possible) to have your finger professionally sized. Most highstreet jewellers will provide you with an accurate sizing free of charge. You can let me know your size in any of the world's international ring sizing standards. I do understand that sometimes this is not possible though. If you have a ring that fits you, please measure across the inside diameter and provide me with that measurement in mm and I'll make your new ring to match. A ring with a wide band will need to be a slightly larger size, so please keep this in mind. And finally, a ring sizer gauge is available to purchase HERE, which enables you to check your ring size from the comfort of your home.
"How can I pay for my item(s)?"
You can pay for your shopping from your Paypal account or with your credit or debit card. All payments are due immediately on purchase. From the checkout page (CART) please click the 'Paypal' or 'Checkout' icon. On the next page you can choose to 'Pay with my Paypal account' or 'Pay with a debit or credit card'. If you have any problems please get in touch.
"How long does it take you to make the
All the items in my shop are custom-made especially for you....there are no ready-mades here! I currently ask for up to 3 weeks from receiving your full order details and payment to having your parcel on it's way to you. If you need your jewellery back faster than this, you are welcome to contact me prior to placing your order to see if I can speed things up. I often can!
"What are your shipping charges?"
Within UK you have 2 choices of postal services. I strongly recommend that you choose Special Delivery Guaranteed®. This service guarantees you will recieve your order by 1pm the next working day (Mon - Fri) after I have posted it, and should anything happen to it, you have peace of mind that it's fully insured . A key benefit of this service is that your parcel can be tracked online or via your mobile by clicking HERE and entering the 13 digit reference number that I will provide you with. There is a flat rate charge of £5.99 for Special Delivery, and the parcel must be signed for on delivery.
Your alternative is to choose Royal Mail Signed For®. This is the cheaper option, however your parcel is NOT ELIGABLE FOR COMPENSATION if it is lost. This service aims to deliver your item the next working day, but can sometimes take a lot longer, and the parcel must be signed for on delivery. £3.99 for this service.
For all address' outside of UK I use 'International Tracked' or 'International Tracked & Signed', depending on where you live. These services aim to deliver to Europe within 3-5 working days, and worldwide within 5-7 working days, but it can take longer. You are covered up to £250 to protect against loss or damage. A signature is taken on delivery and your parcel can be tracked online or via your mobile by clicking HERE and entering the 13 digit reference number that I will provide you with. There is a flat rate charge of £5.99 for this service.

"What metal do you use?"
Unless otherwise stated, all metal used is STERLING SILVER.
"Do your items carry a hallmark?"
Due to the Hallmarking Act 1973, all items that weigh over 7.78 grams will be sent to Sheffield Assay Office for hallmarking before they arrive with you. Your item will discreetly include my own sponsors mark, the metal and fineness (purity) mark, and the Sheffield assay office mark. Generally speaking, the only items in my shop that will weigh over 7.78 grams (and therefore require hallmarking) are the cuffs, bangles and the chunkier rings. If you are purchasing something smaller and would like it to be sent for hallmarking this can be arranged, however additional costs may be involved.
"What about returns?"
I make every piece of jewellery specifically for the person that has chosen it, and therefore it is not returnable due to a change of mind. In the unlikely event that there is an error in my inscription, or a defect in the piece I will gladly refund/exchange for you asap. If you have any problem at all with your purchase please get in touch, I take all feedback seriously, and will do all I can to help you. Your happiness is my happiness.
"How will you use my data?" (GDPR compliant)
As well as being the designer/maker/owner at Magic in the grass, I am also the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop. When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than with delivery companies to fulfil your order, or with HMRC to comply with legal or tax obligations. I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years as this is the recommended timeframe from HMRC for tax purposes. After this time I will delete your data from my records. You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
"Any other business?"
All words are hand stamped letter by letter, and therefore they won't always be perfectly in line, however this does add to the charm and uniqueness of the piece. No two will ever be the same.
I currently work in capital letters as standard, but lower case is available on certain items if requested.
I may use photographs of your item(s) as part of my advertisements. You are welcome to opt out of this if prefered.
